Joe Cocker Dies from Lung Cancer

Musician Joe Cocker has passed away from lung cancer at age 70.

Singer Joe Cocker has passed away.

The iconic musician, who was best known for songs such as “With a Little Help from My Friends” and “You Are So Beautiful,” died on 22 December 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer:


The news was confirmed by Cocker’s agent Barrie Marshall:



“(Joe Cocker) was simply unique. It will be impossible to fill the space he leaves in our hearts. He was without a doubt the greatest rock/soul voice ever to come out of Britain and he remained the same man throughout his life. Hugely talented, a true star, but a kind and humble man who loved to perform. Anyone who ever saw him live will never forget him.”


Cocker was 70 years old.
