Biden Smeared with Deceptive Video

Last week, a widely shared video clip purported to show U.S. presidential hopeful Joe Biden proclaiming the “‘European identity of America” and saying, “Our culture is not imported from some African nation.”

The people promoting the video said it unmasked Biden as a “white supremacist,” but the reality was very different, Snopes.com’s Dan MacGuill reports. The foreshortened clip lacked the full and original context of Biden’s remarks, thus dramatically changing their meaning.
