Published Feb. 7, 2015

On 7 February 2015, Bruce Jenner survived a horrific multi-car pileup that occurred about noon on Pacific Coast Highway at Corral Canyon Road in Malibu, California. The accident reportedly left one person dead and five more hospitalized, but the 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist was uninjured.

Photographs of the crash site showed a black Hummer with its hood open, revealing a damaged engine; a white Lexus that was severely damaged in front and back; a black Prius that appeared to have been rear-ended; and black Escalade (with an off-road vehicle in tow) with a damaged front end:

According to local law enforcement, Jenner was a driver of one of the automobiles involved in the accident, but he cooperated with investigators, passed a field sobriety test, and voluntarily submitted a blood sample to determine whether he was intoxicated.
