A Starbucks in Glenpool, Oklahoma, become the center of controversy last week after a police officer reported that when he received his coffee order, the word “pig” had been printed on the cups.

A number of readers queried us about the veracity of the story, which garnered a fair amount of attention in the local and national press. Dan MacGuill reports that Starbucks confirmed two employees were fired in connection with the incident.
