On May 5, 2016, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump was preparing to have lunch in Trump Tower, posing for a photograph for Twitter with a taco bowl from Trump Grill. While the majority of the resulting discussion surrounding the tweet related to the future president's line "I love Hispanics!," our readers recently asked about something visible in the background.

In an open drawer on the right side of the photograph, at least one person noticed several boxes of the name-brand nasal decongestant Sudafed. Twitter user @JRehling tweeted that "Trump was abusing Sudafed," tweets that received tens of thousands of retweets and likes.

What's the truth here? Alex Kasprak investigated.
