Snopes Investigates: ‘The BL’ Media Network

A new Snopes investigation has found that a pro-Trump media outlet named The BL (as in “The Beauty of Life”) is being less than forthright about its connections to controversial pro-Trump newspaper The Epoch Times.

Though both organizations categorically deny any links between themselves, Snopes investigators Alex Kasprak and Jordan Liles found myriad indications that they are, in fact, connected.

Among those are the fact that a suspiciously large number of The BL’s editorial staff members are current or previous employees of The Epoch Times, and some of them appear to be covertly administering Trump-specific Facebook pages and groups, in most cases without disclosure.
