Standing at nearly 43 inches tall from paw to shoulder and weighing a staggering 245lbs could this be the world's new tallest dog?

Pictured here in the parks of Tuscon, Arizona, George, a four-year-old blue great dane, looks more like a miniature horse than a dog.

Origins:   As
reported
in the 24 December 2009 edition of Britain's Daily Mail, the colossal canine pictured above is George, a 4-year-old Blue Great Dane who weighs 245 lbs., measures 7' 3" from nose to tail, and stands three-and-a-half feet tall at the shoulder. His owner, Dave Nassar of Tucson, Arizona, says George gobbles up 110 pounds of food per month and sleeps in his own queen-size bed.

"Giant George" has his own web site, Facebook page, and Twitter account. More of George can also be viewed in the video clips linked below and at the Incredible Features web site.
