...are only bigger, fatter wheels, wider seat, dual gel-cell batteries, sturdier construction, etc. They're actually all-terrain, they float (not recommended or designed for that but as a safety feature). The very newest of these (VERY $$$$$$$$$$$) are stabilized to maintain a level seat, with the wheels working independently, piston-style ('walking wheels').
Bruce, I can't tell you how many times I've been prayed over...it's a wonder I can continue to consider myself a man of faith. (I've had too many true 'miracles' to not believe.) Man, you run into such a gamut from the fervent-and-a-little-wild-eyed one of any genre to the truly-caring-loving-I'd-do-anything-to-make- you-feel-better Christian, Jew or aetheist. It's definitely a test of patience when they demand you to "heal immediately, arise and walk, dammit, God and I are waiting for you to have enough faith."
All things considered there are far more really great friends (know them or not) everywhere than there are jerks...but hell, this is planet Earth and nature provides a balance, I guess.
I love being out in the boonies. I hope to be camping in rugged outback if I get to Australia. Ditto, NZ... just thinking of those huge trout gives me a little atrial fib. I can live on the fantasies for as long as it takes (that and I tape hours and hours of Discovery Channel).
