Um, I didn't REALLY slap the nurse, or I'd have been one very PG woman in prison. I just FELT like doing it...actually the conversation went like this: Me: Will it hurt? Her: Naw, the most you'll feel is a little cramping. Me: (From the ceiling, where I've jumped straight up and am now clinging to the acoustical tiles) FRICKEN FRACKEN YEOWCH Her: Now, now it's not that bad. Me: (Having been peeled down from the ceiling): Muttering under my breath - "YOu fricken bracken expletive, just wait til this nine inches of needle is out of my stomach...Just wait!!" AFterwards: Her: There, now, that wasn't so bad, was it? Me: Get out of here before I call the police.
Ceci - Ah dunno. Maybe my pain threshold is just lower than most.
