You are undoubtedly too egocentric to NOT come back for the response(s) to your post. Honey, what ever is the problem? If this were a subject near and dear to you...why ever would you label it Sarcasm? Mine is Information...below...but you can be sarcastic if you like, of course .
Posters can't have an opinion that isn't sugar coated (sorta like that glurge e-mail)? The primary reason for my attraction to this board (and these posters) is exchange...whether we agree or not isn't THE issue.
I'm one of the few people here who believe cross to be legit...most of the time, I believe it. The guy is an enigma and we'll probably never know. But if someone opts to criticize him...this is an adult world where either one doo-doo's or gets off the pot. If someone's feelings get bounced then they have the option to speak up, have someone champion their cause, or find another board where nonsensical text, lack of basic humanity skills and, dearth of punctuation are better accepted.
So I find it curious that you fling your head high, sniff majestically and split with a dare to flame you (need an e-mail addy to flame you, 'k?) though extract yourself from any possible read of the responses. Do you habitually (from childhood) stick your fingers in your ears and mutter loudly and repeatedly, "Ican'thearyouIcan'thearyouIcan'thearyou"? or is this just an aberration? If you feel so strongly, why don't you stick around and defend the defenseless? (Or 'defenceless if you're either Larsonesque[image a horse without corral) or Aussie, Canadian, or Brit)
Nothing personal but...get over yourself. If you believe people are being unkind...speak the hell up and don't do that silly immature hop-outta-here thing. You seem bright enough with good writing skills...so put them to positive use instead of punishing us by not being able to exchange responses. Or is that your sole confident way to 'win'...translation, "WELL, I guess I told them" doesn't wash if you are unable to defend your words...pretty cruel yourself when you don't know any of us or the situation.
However...we're here if you wanna be a big girl and see if this kitchen is, indeed, too hot for you. You jumped the gun AND your skin may be a tad thin for exchanges. If you can't handle confrontation this isn't the place for you. If you can't think your way through a discussion to a conclusion...this probably isn't the place for you. Since you weren't willing to wait for responses...you can't have all the info necessary to form a valid conclusion. (Conclusion, yes; valid, no.)
I can't think of one single soul on these boards who hasn't been flamed/confronted/challenged including, but not limited to, snopes and mrs.snopes. I'm not keen on being unkind as those who know me here can attest...but if you interpret opinions without the kindness you espouse ...kettle calling the skillet dirty.
I hope you read this and can locate some inner gumption to defend your sort-of-hateful message. Dialog is what it's all about to communicate effectively here. All you did was flame and split...how can anything be resolved if you flounce off? Many would read that as...no confidence in your opinion or your presentation.
