The Glass Cat got all itchy and frantic so I took him to the vet as his idea of getting mommy's attention was to hunker down in the middle of her dinner plate. The vet prescribed antihistamines which seem to have perked him up even more, though maybe it's just too early for them to kick in and conk him out.
Anyway, in his quest to get comfortable, he would twitch from cushion to keyboard, to lap, to in front of the monitor, to on top of the mouse. Obviously, he wanted something new and different. So I pulled out the flat desk drawer, plunked his plush cat pad on top of it and finally convinced him to get onto it. This involved feeding him a second dinner and scratching him wherever he wanted it.
Now he's on the pad on the drawer and he's discovered the delicious crunching noises the things in the drawer, under his pad make when he shifts around. So I now have a cat standing on his hind end, using his forepaws to tap the cushion all over just to see what noise it will make this time.
Oy.
