don't know that this is news people really need to sit down for (even though it concerns my favorite kind of food — Free!), but it is indeed true.
On Wednesday, June 20, 2001, the TOGO's sandwich chain will be giving away free sandwiches. The offer comes with a typical set of restrictions, however:
- You can't order any kind of sandwich you want — you can only get a free California Club sandwich (on the west coast) or a free Hot Pastrami sandwich (on the east coast). Where TOGO's considers the dividing line between east and west to be isn't specified.
- The offer is only good for a few hours each day:
5 P.M. -8 P.M. in the west and11 A.M. -3 P.M. in the east. - The usual limitations apply: While suppplies last. Limit one sandwich per customer. Offer good at participating stores only.
