NEWS:   Bobbi Kristina Brown has died at the age of 22.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, has died.

Brown was discovered unresponsive in the bathtub of her home in Roswell, Georgia on 31 January 2015. While Brown was initially revived, the circumstances under which she was discovered bore many parallels to the death of mother Whitney Houston at the age of 48:

Brown's husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her in the tub before 10:20 a.m. and started CPR, said Roswell police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Holland. Police and rescue personnel arrived at the subdivision, north of Atlanta, and performed life-saving measures before Brown, 21, was brought alive and breathing to the nearby North Fulton Hospital.

Brown's family confirmed her death in a brief statement to NBC News on 26 July 2015:

She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.

Brown was 22.
